Frequently Asked Questions.
Direct answers regarding our technology, current operational capacity, and partnership roadmap.
What is Swamikri Labs building?
We are developing autonomous, non-chemical weed management systems designed for industrial-scale agriculture. Our primary focus is high-precision mechanical and thermal intervention modules that integrate into existing tractor ecosystems. We aim to replace broad-spectrum herbicides with site-specific, robotics-driven elimination.
Where are you currently operational?
Currently, our field trials are restricted to Bengaluru and Pune. We are focusing on high-value specialty crops before expanding to castor and maize.
Development stage?
We have successfully completed three harvest cycles with our Prototype IV. We are currently moving into small-batch pre-production for our 2025 pilot partners.
Difference from herbicides?
Unlike chemical solutions that affect the entire field and soil biome, our system uses computer vision to target specific weed species. We apply physical force or targeted energy, leaving the soil chemistry untouched and eliminating the risk of chemical resistance.
Tractor compatibility?
Our current “Helix” module is compatible with Category II and III three-point hitches. It requires a minimum of 85HP and ISOBUS Class 3 connectivity for full autonomous integration. We are working on a standalone power pack for older, non-digital fleet hardware.
Organic certification?
Yes. Because our intervention is strictly mechanical/thermal, it complies with GlobalGAP standards. It is an ideal tool for large-scale organic operations looking to reduce manual labor costs.
How do I partner or apply for the pilot?
We are currently selecting 12 partners for our 2026 Harvest Cycle. We prioritize farms with 5 acres of permanent crops.
